UNFORTUNATLY DUE TO LACK OF SUPPORT I WAS NOT ABLE TO FINISH THE WALK THIS YEAR. I DID COMPLETE 600 MILES AND RAISED £3000 FOR CHARITY. I WILL BE SETTING OFF IN AGAIN IN 2008 SO ANY SUPPORTERS ARE WELCOME
I've always liked challenges and when I thought of walking from John O'Groats to lands End on stilts the idea really gripped me. I really wanted to do something positive for other people, but something that would be a personal achievement for me as well.
Epilepsy Action have been a great help to both my father and I ( as we are both epileptic ) and I wanted to help them support others the way they had for us. Epilepsy also affects another 1 in 131 people in the UK.
My main aim is to raise awareness about not only the condition of Epilepsy , but also where to find help and information about the subject itself. The two charities I am supporting are Epilepsy Action and F.A.B.LE ( For a Better Life with Epilepsy) both of which are a wealth of support and information.
My usual occupation is a performance artist ; I have worked for over a decade in film, TV and stage. As such I intend to visit as many events as possible in costume on stilts along my route to generate interest and educate people about the condition of epilepsy.

To be able take this challenge to It's full potential I am looking for support. This can be in kind or financial. The areas I need assistance with include:
Below is a list of companies and individuals who have helped me so far. Thank you to everyone for your help, especially those who do not want a mention and prefer to help from behind the scenes. Stilt Walking across the UK is turning into a very large project and I could'nt have done this without help and support.
